Cream Cheese Icing
1 8 oz. package Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons Milk or cream as needed
2 Tablespoons Corn Starch
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together. Gradually add dry ingredients one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When all sugar has been mixed in, icing will appear a bit dry. Add milk (I use whipping cream) and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
